Do you provide meals and snacks?
Yes, we serve breakfast to all rooms before 9AM and provide an afternoon snack. Parents must provide a packed lunch that can be stored in our facility’s refrigerators.
For our infants, feeding schedules are personalized to each child.
How do you ensure safety at your facility?
Our staff have yearly safety and CPR training. We also abide by Pennsylvania state regulations and are inspected by the state yearly to assure we are creating the safest possible environment for our children.
How will I find out about my child’s day and best communicate with their teachers?
We utilize the Class Dojo app here at HDLC. This app allows us to direct message parents directly, as well as post private stories and facility news updates. We also have daily paper reports for our younger students detailing what they have eaten, how much they have slept, etc.
What qualifications do your teachers have?
Our staff receive on-going education through Better Kid Care provided by Penn State University.
Are you state licensed?
Yes, we are in compliance with all PA state regulations and are an officially licensed childcare center.
